Brian Kenneth Hare, Sr.

Feburary 6, 1957 - October 17, 2016

HARE, Brian Kenneth, Sr., age 59 years, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016. He was born February 6, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Nadine (Simms) Hare. After Brian's father passed away when he was young the late Louis Hare continued to raise him. Anyone who knew Brian, knew what a caring man he was and that he would do anything for anyone.

Brian is survived by his son, Todd Hare; grandchildren, Alyssa, Hailey, Talia and Dakoda Hare; siblings, Mike (Sue) Hare, Terry Hare, Barb Martin and Vicky Frasle; sister and brother-in-laws, many nieces and nephews and great friends. Along with his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Fritz) Hare, a son Brian Hare, Jr. (BJ) and his siblings, Sue Dingler, Dave Hare and Brenda Jones.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at noon at C.M. Humpula Funeral Home, 209 Entrepreneur Dr., St. Charles. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Rickie Lee Cramton

October 8, 1952 - September 12, 2016

CRAMTON, Rickie Lee, age 63 years, passed away peacefully Monday, September 12, 2016 at his home with his family and close friends by his side. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on October 8, 1952 to the late William and Mary Ann (Szarenski) Cramton. Rick graduated from St. Charles High School in 1970 and was drafted into the Army serving in the Vietnam War from 1970-1972. He owned and operated a concrete business for many years. When he was in his 40s he decided to go back to school and received his Bachelors in teaching from SVSU; he loved teaching and all his students. Rick worked and retired from Rail America. He loved bird watching, camping, sports and spending time with his family.

Rick is survived by his children, Pete (Kristie) Cramton, Sierra (Richard) Miller and Jarred Cramton; grandchildren, Caden and Beckett Cramton; sister, Lauren (Bill) Silverstein; several nieces and nephews and best bud, Frank Marietta. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kurt Cramton.

A funeral service will be held at C.M. Humpula Funeral Home, 209 Entrepreneur Dr., St. Charles, on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Karmanos Cancer Center.

Elaine E. Pumford

October 3, 1923 - September 4, 2016

PUMFORD, Elaine E., age 92 years, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on October 3, 1923 to the late Elmer and Denise (LaFrance) Dey. On October 2, 1943 she married William T. Pumford and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2012. Elaine was an active member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church and Alter Society.

Elaine was very rich in family. She is survived by her 7 children, Theresa Reed, Milo (Mary) Pumford, Mary Jo (Jack) Kocur, Linda (Ken) Mahoney, Kathy (Tom) McIntyre, Elaine Pumford and Karrie Pumford; 13 grandchildren and their spouses; 23 great-grandchildren and brother and sister-in-laws, Marilyn Dey, Darlene Pumford, Jack and Helen Pumford, and Bob and June Pumford. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; 2 children, Billy and Chris Pumford; one grandchild, Billy Pumford; and her siblings, Clayton, Elmer Jr., Joe and Billy Dey, Coriean Meier, Lillian McNeil, Dorothy George and Mary Dey.

A funeral mass will be held at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. John Cotter will preside with committal following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Chesaning. Visitation will take place at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass.

Jason Joseph Braun

December 16, 1981 - June 25, 2016

BRAUN, Jason Joseph, passed away at home on June 25, 2016. Jason was born on December 16, 1981 to Kenneth and Cindy (Neumann) Braun. Jason graduated from St. Charles High School in 2000, then continued his education at Delta College. He became a journeyman patternmaker at D&K Pattern where he worked alongside his father for 13 years. On July 21, 2007, Jason married the love of his life Danielle (LaFleur) Braun. Jason enjoyed boating, anything involving Kid Rock, a good game of cards, playing softball and hockey, and most of all being with his friends and family. Jason was a friend to everyone he met, had a quick wit, was always up for a good debate, and lived his life to the fullest.

Jason leaves behind his wife, Danielle, along with his two children, Daxon and Remi; parents, Ken and Cindy; brother and sister-in-law Joshua and Karen Braun; his father and mother-in-law Bill and Kelly LaFleur; and his sister and brother-in-law Rochelle and Robb McPhillips.

There will be a casual celebration of Jason's wonderful life on July 1, 2016 at the home of Ken and Cindy (12390 Prior Road, St. Charles, MI 48655) beginning at 3pm, with dinner being served at 5.

Lee Edward Morgan

February 7, 1949 - April 30, 2016

MORGAN, Lee Edward, age 67 years, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was born on February 7, 1949 to the late Howard and Delores (Brown) Morgan. On February 26, 1979 he married the former Sandra Hudson and she survives him. Lee was a father to 5 children. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was an employee of Buick at General Motors in Flint. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed all Michigan sports. Lee was a faithful and loving member of Shield of Faith Church.

Along with his wife Sandra, Lee is survived by 4 children, John Morgan, Nicole (Brian) Serba, Jason Morgan, and Josh (Megan) Morgan; grandchildren, Lee Jawhari, Zachary Pierce, Alex Burch, Colin Serba and Brigham Morgan; great granddaughter, Remi Pierce; a sister, Carol (Bill) Prim and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Jawhari and two brothers, Howard Morgan and Jack Morgan.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at C.M. Humpula Funeral Home, 209 Entrepreneur Dr., St. Charles. Pastor Weldon Townsend will officiate. A visitation will take place Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Shield of Faith Ministries.

Jacob "Jake" Spannagel

June 10, 1940 - April 13, 2016

SPANNAGEL, Jacob "Jake" John age 75 years, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Joanne (DeGuise) Spannagel and his three children, Debra (Robert) Greve, Michael (Jennifer) Spannagel and David (Kellie) Spannagel.

The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.

Cathy Elisabeth Haselbeck (Delemeester)

December 21, 1969 - February 28, 2016

HASELBECK, Cathy Elisabeth, beloved wife, daughter, and friend, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 28th, 2016. She was born on December 21st 1969 to Jim and Marlene Delemeester. She was the youngest of three children.

Cathy graduated from St. Charles Community High School in 1988. Cathy was blessed with a beautiful and caring soul. Throughout her life, she had always surrounded herself with pets. She enjoyed taking care of them and spending time making a difference to all of them.

Cathy was employed at Community State Bank in St. Charles when she met and married her soul mate Charles W. Haselbeck. On November 27th, 1993 they began their lives together. Her love of pets kept their home full. Cathy and Chuck loved spending time together camping when they were not working around their home. Cathy was adamant about her flower gardens. She always wanted them to be free of anything that was not beautiful. She kept herself very busy with this hobby. She spent many hours during the summer keeping them beautiful. New plants each year was almost a requirement.

Her desire to have things clean and organized also was how she kept their home. This was a way of life for her. She constantly kept her husband on his toes with their lawn and their home.

Cathy shared a beautiful life with her family and friends. Cathy is survived by her Husband: Charles Haselbeck, parents: Jim and Marlene Delemeester, Father-in-law: James (the late Karen) Haselbeck, Brothers: Greg (Jackie) Delemeester of Marietta, OH, Gary Delemeester and Jeff Daly of Ancram, NY. Brother and Sister In Laws: Greta (Matt) Zalucha, John (Marsha) Haselbeck, Nieces and Nephews: Mya, Todd, Tiffany, Nima, Payum, Hannah and their families. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cathy's loving presence will be missed by everyone that was blessed to have known her.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church. Fr. Joseph Schabel will preside. Entombment will take place at Oakwood Mausoleum at 3:00 p.m. The family will greet friends at C.M. Humpula Funeral Home, 209 Entrepreneur Dr., St. Charles, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 2-8 p.m., with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m., and again on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Jacqueline Joan Jones


July 20, 1940 - February 20, 2016

JONES, Jacqueline Jones, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the age of 75 years. She was born in Fosters, Michigan on July 20, 1940 to the late George and Helen (Nearing) Lintz. She married Laurence H. LaBelle, Jr. on January 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1972. She married John C. Jones in 1976 and he preceded her in death on December 18, 2011.

She is survived by 7 children: Laurence (Jackie) LaBelle of St. Charles, Joseph (Sue) LaBelle of Burt, John (Dawn) LaBelle of Birch Run, Renee (Dean) Baker of Traverse City, Brenda (Alan) Meyer of Burt, Vickie Runyan of Burt and Basil (Kristi) LaBelle of Saginaw, 2 sisters: Alta (Tom) Zoromski of Burt and Helen (Rich) Popp of Saginaw, 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild that she cherished. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Agnes LaBelle, a brother, John Lintz and a grandson, Joshua LaBelle.

She was a life-long member of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and has attended Nativity Lutheran Church of St. Charles with her family the past 3 years. She was employed with Frankenmuth Woolen Mills for many years. She loved making beautiful wedding cakes for family and friends as well as gardening and spending time with her family.

Funeral and committal services will be on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Nativity Lutheran Church in St. Charles. The Rev. Mitch Vogeli will officiate. Private burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Saginaw. Visitation will be on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at C. M. Humpula Funeral Home, 209 Entrepreneur Drive, St. Charles. She will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time. The family wishes to thank Dr. Carmen Szilagyi and Heartland Hospice Care for the loving care that they gave to Jacqueline. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Nativity Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.

Lynn Marie Soule

September 7, 1972 - January 5, 2016

SOULE, Lynn Marie, age 43 years, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Lynn is survived by her children, Kyle, Tyler, and Machaela Lepeak; her brother, Timothy (Tami) Soule; and her father, Kenneth Soule. She is preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Soule, and her mother, Rosemary Vicknair. She also leaves behind a niece, a nephew, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Lynn was born on September 7, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated with her Nursing Degree from ECPI (East Coast Polytechnic Institute) located in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2004. In 2006, she moved back to Saginaw with her family and accepted a position at Healthsource where she worked for about 7 years. Lynn was a caring mother whose greatest pride was her children.

She was always around for anyone who was in need. Her family and friends will always remember her as a hardworking and persistent person.Funeral services will be held at C.M. Humpula Funeral Home, 209 Entrepreneur Dr., Saint Charles on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.. The Rev. Mitch Vogeli will officiate. Visitation will take place prior to the services on Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Family and friends are also welcome to come celebrate Lynn at a reception at Nativity Lutheran Church in Saint Charles following the service.
